DEVON 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE GROUP
We are a group of mental health service users and workers, who are planning to climb the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell, Ben Nevis and Snowdon) in May 2010.
We are doing this to help raise awareness of the stigma and discrimination that people with mental health problems face every day.
For the participants, it will be an opportunity to take part in a challenging but rewarding experience that most would not otherwise get the chance to do.
It will also be an opportunity to create a positive media story, which we aim to do by way of video diaries, photos and blogs.
